wonderful
Lacquer Box
was painted in 1967 in the village of Fedoskino.
The
Lacquer Box
is made of papier-mache and painted by hand.
The box depicts a woman in a white dress sitting on a bench under the trees in the moonlight.
The lacquer box was drawn based on the painting
"Moonlit Night" by the Russian artist Kramskoy, I. The picture was painted in 1880 (see photo #12).
