    Antique Russian Regional Folk Costume Doll Handmade And Painted Moldovan. This is circa 1920s. There are collections of these from each region of USSR. This is the Moldovan version (stamped accordingly on the bottom). Very light in weight and possibly hollow. Made from an unknown material but could be something like balsa wood although it feels much harder, or even papier mache.
