The Dayton Brake is a spring set brake with automatic reset release that is used for stopping and holding rotating loads on bakery and food processing equipment. It is used with single and three phase BISSC and stainless steel c-face motors used in food washdown applications. This brake is a double C-face magnetic disc brake that is designed to be used in washdown and washdown sanitary applications. It has an enclosure that is bissect watertight/dust proof, making it suitable for use in washdown environments. The brake comes with a spring that is easily installed, making it simple to mount on your equipment.
