German Army Heereskarte - BATTLE OF FRANCE MAP SET - PARIS - 1:20000 - VERY RARE

Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE WW2 German Wehrmacht/Luftwaffe 1940 Battle of France Map set!
This set specifically covers Paris and surrounding areas, and is in 1:20000 scale!
Produced in 1940 by the Generalstab des Heeres, this set would have been used by both the Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht units.
These were made at the start of the Battle of France, and would have been planned for use during the invasion (May 10, 1940 - June 25, 1940).
Made of heavy paper, this map set is in EXCELLENT condition for its age!
The outer folder/cover does have a few marks, wear, and small tears due to the age, but it is still VERY solid.
All information is clearly legible.
This set consists of 4 maps of Paris depicting topographical landmarks, points of interest, waterways, rivers, lakes, municipalities, districts, streets & roads (as well as their names), hotels, railways, airports, parks, elevations, grid markings, and other pertinent information.
It is a 100% COMPLETE set, and are titled:
Blatt Nordost
Blatt Nordwest
Blatt Sudost
Blatt Sudwest
The back sides of each map also detail each and every individual name located on the map, and their corresponding map location for easy reference.
I have shown detailed images of the "Sudwest" map, to give an overall idea of what each map would generally look like.
All the maps are in SUPERB condition, and features no tears, rips or stains.
They measure on average, approx.
30" x 36" in size.
