    Description

    This is a very pretty and unusual egg that has been hand painted and lacquered so although you can see the original painting that is raised, there is a shiny gloss surface.  The art work and the depiction of the curled up lounging cat is finely detailed to perfection.
    I see no flaws or imperfections and the painting is done in such a meticulous manner that this leads me to believe this is Russian or Ukrainian. It has a marking at one end that is either the artist's initials or a numbering system.  There is a string coming from the hole and has a series of numbers on it but it is not pricing. The egg measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" across.
    If I have asked for too much shipping expenses, I will refund as soon as possible.   I will accept returns for description errors.

It is YOUR responsibility to file a claim for any insured items that are damaged because that is what Insurance is purchased for. This is the U.S. Post Office requirement and this information is found on their web site on the “File A Claim” page.  I can NOT file claims with the Post Office for you. E Bay might tell you differently, but the U.S. Postal Regulations and Requirements are very clear. In order for the claim to be processed with the Post Office, the receiver of the damaged item must file the claim at their local Post Office or you may file online. You will need to keep the damaged item, the box with the labels on it, and all of the original packing materials as the Post Office may require them for proof of damage.
