Large Vintage WWII Russian hand painted lacquer box - “Great Patriotic War”

Beautiful hand-made, original
Russian hand-painted wooden lacquer box. This large box depicts soldiers of the “Great Patriotic War” (a.k.a. World War II) along with a large Russian flag, explosions, smoke and other war related items. There are no visible signatures. The hinges work well and the lid fits snugly. The inside of the box is lined with a tan colored material. The box is in good vintage condition, but shows signs of 75 years of aging and use, including paint chips and crazing/cracking.
