    Description

Palekh Museum quality Russian Lacquer Box hand painted and signed by artist
This is a museum quality hand painted box with a great amount of miniature details.
All paintings are covered with thin 24K gold lines. Under the right angle of light the painting is glowing by delicate golden details,
which is magical, but very hard to show this effect on pictures. Exam the details on pictures that are with direct light above, I think you will
be able to see the part of it. Several layers of highly polished lacquer with delicate 24K gold ornaments around the sides and around the top of the box. This box was painted in 1971 by a well known artist. It is quite hard to find the same quality of art technique  and artistry these days. There are months  of work to finish the painting and lacquering. The actual box looks much better than the pictures.
    Size; 7" x 5" x 1 3/4"
