RUSSIAN TALE CHARACTER, SPIRIT OF FOREST.
The Russian mushroom Borovik guarded forest animals in fairy tales and monitored harmony in the forest. He showed berries and mushrooms to good people, and hid them from bad ones under the leaves so that it was difficult to get them. Mushroom Borovichok is the spirit of the forest and a symbol of the harmony of man with nature, the guardian of fabulous wonders and a symbol of the fertility of the forest.
The figurine is of very high quality, the carving is pleasant, the drawing is highly detailed.
The linden wood is carved in Sergeev Posad (world famous city of Russian traditional wood carving).
