WW2 German 1:1000000 Fliegerkarte Pilot Map - GERMANY - LARGE - RARE!

Description

This map allowed the pilot to properly calculate his flight path. It is made heavy paper.
Made of heavy paper, this map is in VERY NICE used condition. It measures a approx. 3.5 feet x 4 feet in size, and covers all of the Germany.  Also includes parts of Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, and France,  Switzerland, and Austria.
It features 2 black printed Luftwaffe Eagles on the top, and shows various locations of lakes, seas, towns, villages, cities, railways, and elevations. Also features longitude and latitude degree markings.  T
his one indicates
, "Herausgegeben vom REICHS-LUFTFAHRT-MINISTERIUM Berlin 1936", (Published by the Air Ministry Berlin 1936
). There are some slight tears (see photos), and wear in some areas due to use and age.  Features a NICE ink stamp, indicating it
originally belonged to
Flugzeugführerschule C 3 (FFS C3).  That dates it between 1940 and 1943.  A
VERY RARE and
FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
You are bidding on a SUPERB 1939 1:1000000 German Fliegerkarte (Pilot Map) as used by both Fighter Pilots and Bomber crews for navigation.  This map is titled "Luft-Navigationskarte in Merkatorprojektion" (Air Navigational Map in Mercator Projection), and covers all of Germany.  It measures a VERY LARGE 41" x 49" (104cm x 124cm) size!
