    Otto Konstantin Gottlieb von Kursell
    was born in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. He
    was a German-Baltic painter and graphic artist, ministerial councilor and director of the State University of Fine Arts in Berlin-Charlottenburg and Senator of the Prussian Academy of the Arts.
    Kursell
    was famous as master student Franz von Stucks, quickly gained a reputation as a portrait painter. After the First World War, he made his talent available to anti-Communist movements. He published numerous political cartoons in which he denounced Communists among others.
    Otto von Kursell
    is the listed artist and important historical figure who has high auction records.
    His paintings and lithographs are being collected by high-end collectors around the world.
